Special Lecture "The Art of Violin Playing"

The violin player Ágnes Kertész translated Carl Flesch's famous books about the art of violin playing to Hungarian. In memory of Carl Flesch she will talk about this great Hungarian violin player, who revolutionized violin teaching in the early 20th century.

Gala Concert 2023

The gala concert took place on the 150th anniversary of Carl Flesch's birthday. The violinist, new artistic director and vice president of the Carl Flesch Competition, Kirill Troussov, along with the board members, introduced a completely new concept and structure for the competition.
The gala concert program included a special performance with Kirill Troussov and performances of the former 1st prize winners of the Carl Flesch Competitions that took place in the years 2017 and 2023.
As a special honorary guest we were happy to welcome Michael Flesch.
